Welp, I guess this is where I write about me.
Having lived in the Charleston community since 2018, I have truly found how beautiful and amazing this place can be. Charleston has become not only a place where I have found home, but a place where I have made some of the most powerful transformations in my mental health journey. It wasn’t until 2021 that I realized that I was ready to make a career change and finally chase the career I believe was meant to be. As someone who has benefited from therapy, I believe in its beauty and the extraordinary outcomes that can come from the journey. I have not only experienced posttraumatic growth, but I have seen it come to life with clients I have worked with, and it’s stunning to watch. Therefore, I believe everything about ourselves is rooted in one place: self-worth. If we can understand ourselves, see our purpose and what we bring to this world, and believe in it, everything else in our lives will evolve. We naturally become more emotionally regulated, have better relationships with those around us, and feel more at peace with ourselves.
My specialties include anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, men’s issues, pornography usage, the LGBTQ community (I’m gay, woohoo!), and grief. My office can be found in Mount Pleasant, SC not too far away from the Ravenel Bridge, making it accessible to other areas of the Charleston community.
For fun, one can find me either gardening, reading a book, walking Charlie on Sullivan’s Island, or cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturdays! Roll Tide! One can also describe me as a huge book worm, and enjoy integrating fictional books into therapy. Some of my favorite books include the Harry Potter Series, Lord of the Rings, The Witcher, or anything that’s filled with fantasy.
